    • Xbox Live compatible: Tecmo's revered development team, Team Ninja, has created a unique Xbox Live feature within Ninja Gaiden. The Master Ninja Tournament, developed specifically for the game, will allow players to participate in a nationwide competition. Here, players will put their honed ninja skills to the test to determine the top Ninja Gaiden player in the country. Participants will compete in downloadable trial missions made available only through Xbox Live. Top-ranked players will win special prizes and be included in the Ninja Gaiden Hall of Fame.

    • Increased skills and new weapons: As you progress through the game, your skills increase, and you'll be rewarded with new weapons to help fight opponents. The more competent you become in fighting enemies, the stronger you'll become, which unlocks new combinations and skills. Wit and skill are also rewarded. The decisions you make in the game affect the weapons and skills you can acquire.

    • Amazing visual effects: Witness an amazing level of detail, as you take on opponents in a variety of environments. Hear swords slicing through the air. Jump out of the way as gouts of blood pulse out from vanquished enemies. Beautifully rendered graphics, amazing visual effects, and realistic combat take Ninja Gaiden to a whole new level.

    • Many challenging levels: Your ninja skills will be put to the ultimate test as you battle through various levels in your mission to avenge your clan.
