Injustice: Gods Among Us can easily be called one of the best, if not THE BEST, fighting games of 2013. With its addictive story mode and fantastic fighting engine, it is an experience to behold. Fans of Mortal Kombat or any fighting game in general will find something to like here. Even after you complete the story, you will keep coming back for more with all of the other modes offered. The robust online mode and the unique missions will keep you playing for a long, long while. With more characters on the way with DLC and gameplay tweaks that can be implemented without downloading updates, this is the total package. The only thing that would of given it a perfect score would of been the inclusion of a Tag Team Mode, but I have hopes that one will be added later. No matter what system you have, you can grab Injustice and have a fantastic time. There is no need to hesitate as this game belongs on your game shelf, even if you are not a comic book fan. To sum up, Buy it!

Netherrealm Studios is quickly establishing itself as the new king of fighting games, particularly with Injustice: Gods Among Us. The studio takes DC’s iconic heroes and makes them all fun and intriguing to play while taking the player on an engrossing storyline that is as appealing as the gameplay itself. With great voice acting, very good graphics and tons to do, this is a game that sets the bar very high for the fighting genre in 2013.

With all the quality elements in Injustice: Gods Among Us its an impressive addition to the long standing fighting genre. While story mode will get you started and pull you in it is the other modes such as the 240 character specific challenges and strong online component (complete with spectator options) that give it the longevity a great fighting game needs.

I did enjoy my time with this game, despite some quirks. Some characters are fun to play, notably Green Arrow and Black Adam, and the whole presentation/length of hidden material makes unlocking extras rewarding.

Picking up perfectly where Mortal Kombat left off, Injustice: Gods Among Us cements NetherRealm's reputation as a purveyor of fighting games with real heft and substance. A heroic effort that'll put a smile upon the face of all but the most demanding DC fighting fan. Shazam!
Lens of Truth (Apr 28, 2013)
Injustice: Gods Among Us is equal parts honorable to the comic book fan and equal parts finely tuned fighter. If you get your kicks (and punches) with combos and special moves, you won’t be disappointed, and if you’ve always wanted to settle the ages-old debates of Superman/Batman, or even just live your own fantasy of watching Aquaman get his just due by putting down Doomsday, then this game will deliver. There’s plenty to do and see and unlock in Injustice and you’ll love the game more with each little step you take into its hero-filled world. Now it’s in your hands.
GamesCollection (Apr 24, 2013)
Tech-Gaming (Apr 20, 2013)
Save for a few omissions, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a proficient fighter, elevated by the inclusion of DC Comic favorites.
Meristation (Apr 16, 2013)
Giant Bomb (Apr 16, 2013)
Injustice's unique fighting systems and wild super moves set it apart from the developer's previous work.

Gameplay (Benelux) (Apr 26, 2013)
Injustice: Gods Among Us is visueel explosief, toegankelijk voor nieuwkomers en extreem leuk om te spelen, maar schiet wat tekort om op langere termijn te blijven boeien.
Calm Down Tom (Apr 24, 2013)
I do understand the pre-order incentive of the codes and costumes but it feels like I am being deprived of content. Sure I have my Batman Beyond and Bane Knightfall skin but I had really hoped for a lot more alternate costumes that I didn’t have to shell out for. For fan service there isn’t enough quirky references or alternate costumes, there are a good few who only have 2 costumes and none of them allude to some of our beloved series. In terms of online features it is most certainly lacking and the combat can feel stale after a while as the combos aren’t particularly hard to scrape the 30/40% mark with half the cast. Even in day one tournaments you see the majority of players using the same combos. It isn’t fun to watch and at times, and it isn’t even that fun to play after landing the same combo about 1,000 times. It’s not a game you should actively avoid, but I wouldn’t go getting my hopes up unless there is a terrific set of DLC and freebies on the way.
The Video Game Critic (May 19, 2013)
Injustice: Gods Among Us is a decent fighter, but it's not nearly as epic as its name would imply.
Gamereactor (Sweden) (Apr 16, 2013)
