The Raven: Episode 3

This is the third episode of The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief, an episodic criminal adventure game in the style of Agatha Christie novels. The overall story is about a thief called The Raven who did some of the most spectacular coups until he was killed by an inspector called Legrand. A few years later: one of the famous Eyes of the Sphinx jewels is stolen from the British Museum. Style and execution seem to match those of the old Raven and are feeding rumors that The Raven may not be as dead expected. This third episode requires the first one to play.

The third chapter, called A Murder of Ravens, continues on the cruise ship Jakob Anton Zellner boarded in the first episode, followed by sections in a museum in Egypt. The game also returns to the earliest events of the game, even prior to boarding the train, played from the perspective of another character. That way the player gets to replay a part of the game at the same time as Zellner is solving clues and many mysteries of the game are revealed. The gameplay consists of getting clues through conversations and solving puzzles using items stored in an inventory.
