Description

Xtreme Air Racing is a mix between flight simulation and racing game. The player controls one of multiple propeller planes and races against other pilots on several round courses all over the world. The handling is adjusted to the needs of a racing game but is overall more on the simulation than on the action side. The races always start in the air, there is no starting or landing sequence.

In the career mode the player receives money for good results which he can spent on upgrading the machine, e.g. buying a new motor. But that's not all, he also can tweak almost every other aspect of the flight parameters, e.g. wing dimensions or radiant coolant load. There also is an editor to build own courses and a replay feature which includes the whole race.
