I was very nearly gob-smacked by Yogi's Great Escape. The sound is superb, with a thumping New Order-style soundtrack, and the smooth scrolling is a treat to watch. The animation is no great shakes, but the game is - so check it out!

The game is not easy but that what gives it that just one more go quality. It's fun to play though and definitely "smarter than the average budget game"!!!

Smarter than the average horizontally-scrolling platform game.

Of course, all this is extremely familiar - the sort of platforms-and-ladders game that Jet Set Willy revolutionized back in 1984. This game hardly matches JSW for imagination or gameplay, but the graphics are very good - perfectly capturing the cartoon character - while gameplay isn't bad. It's obviously a bit repetitive going back to level one when you lose all your lives, but for a budget game it's very playable. [...] Recommended for Yogi fans everywhere.

AmigaRetro Game Reviews (Apr 18, 2015)
Yogi's Great Escape is a fun platform game but it's simply too short and doesn't take advantage of what the Amiga can do. It's certainly a lot smoother than it's 8-bit counterparts but it failed to include any extra content that it desperately needed to help set it apart.

All of which is very simple, pretty uninspiring and extremely repetitive. It looks very dated and boring, even for £2.99. In fact I doubt you'll be able to 'bear' it for very long at all (ho ho).
