Personal Computer Games (May, 1984)
Enter Willy's mansion. And begin the wackiest craziest adventure of your life.
Crash! (May, 1984)
Jet Set Willy is a high point in the development of the Spectrum game. I hope there will be others, maybe ones of a different kind, but I’m sure nothing will top this game for addictivity, fluent graphics, responsiveness and sheer imagination. The nightmare quality of the events suggests its author should be receiving therapy. Instead, he’s probably getting rich. Good luck to him...
Eurogamer.net (UK) (Oct 25, 2007)
The two most important aspects of character identification are "want" and "need", and seldom in the history of games have these vitalities been better portrayed than in Jet Set Willy - precisely the reason we're so inexplicable drawn toward his games and consider his progenitor to be on a different creative level to us mortals who play the games.

Un Videogioco che non può lasciare indifferenti. Messa in scena, personalità e stile da vendere. Da giocare almeno una volta nella vita.
Sinclair User (Jun, 1984)
Manic Miner was one of last year's classic Spectrum games and now programmer Matthew Smith has brought Willy back again in an equally zany sequel, Jet Set Willy. Willy is living the decadent life after striking it rich down the mine but his housekeeper revolts after one party too many and will not let Willy go to bed until he has cleared all the mess.
Computer and Video Games (CVG) (May, 1984)
Jet Set Willy is bound to be up among the top ten in the C&VG Daily Mirror software charts before very long - and I confidently predict that Matthew Smith and Software Projects have got another number one on their hands. Jet Set Willy is available now from Software Projects of Liverpool and is a bargain at £5,50.
TeleMatch (Dec, 1984)
Und was gefällt?
