Soap Land is a humorous text adventure that is based on the soap operas that were on UK television around 1987. Aficionados of the genre will find references to Eastenders, Coronation Street, Albion Market Crossroads and even Dallas. Other more-or-less familiar names include Filthy Len, Mangie, Dr. Legless and the Queen Liz pub

The player takes the role of a policeman, Sergeant Roy Slow, and the task is top patrol Soap Land doing good deeds and fighting crime. Each act earns points and when they have earned 200 Jeffrey Archer novels (aka 200 points) the player reports back to H.Q. for their reward.

This is a three part game - parts two and three require the player to load data saved at the end of the previous part of the game, meaning that they cannot be played out of sequence.
