Ian Bell is a programmer, game designer and producer best known for developing the game Elite with David Braben. He also wrote the game Free Fall which was released for the BBC micro in 1983.
Bell graduated from Cambridge University with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. He has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Autodesk since 2008.
