Marcela Cabrera

Marcela Cabrera is an Award-Winning Designer from Caracas, Venezuela.
A graduate from the Neumann Institute of Design, she has worked on a wide variety of editorial, packaging, and marketing projects, as well as multimedia software titles.
She’s been the recipient of the IBBY Award (International Board on Books for Young Children) in Switzerland, as one of 100 best Children’s Books illustrators of the World.
She has also received several “Best Illustrated Children’s Book” Awards by The National Library of Venezuela, and Best New Children’s Software for Jumpstart Phonics by the Bologna International Book Faire.
Marcela’s children’s book art has also been exhibited in the MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) in Caracas, Venezuela, and the Junior Art Center in Los Angeles, California.
She’s now established in Los Angeles, California and is the founder of PoliWog Studios™ a creative product development studio.
