Dan is an experienced leader and game developer with over 13 years of experience and 80 shipped titles. Dan began his video game career in 2002 as a designer on the million-selling The Sims: Bustin’ Out (GBA). After a rapid advance into the production ranks, Dan has guided a bevy of top titles to completion including Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines (PSP), Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery (DSi/iPhone), Age of Empires: Mythologies (DS), Spore: Creatures (DS), The Sims 2 (DS), and The Urbz: Sims in the City (DS/GBA). At Griptonite, Dan was instrumental in enhancing both the efficiency of development and quality of the studio's top titles. In 2011, after Griptonite was acquired by Glu Mobile, Dan launched 5 titles as a studio EP including Samurai vs Zombies Defense. Later, as the Head of Studio at Z2, Dan drove the creation of original F2P games on mobile platforms through the restructuring of studio processes and live operations resulting in the launch of Paradise Bay. After leaving Z2, Dan helped build the mobile arm of Amazon Game Studios by setting up the framework and infrastructure for F2P mobile titles on all mobile platforms and helping launch several titles on Kindle and iOS. Ultimately, Dan went on to run DropForge/WG Cells for Wargaming. At WG Cells, Dan built a development and publishing studio that launched 4 games in its 2 year run before ultimately dissolving at the end of 2016. In addition to being an avid board and video gamer, Dan enjoys all manner of outdoor sports, reading and music.
