Dominique Philippine graduated from "Ecole Superieure d'Electricite" near Paris, France in 1984 with a CS engineering degree. After a short stint in a Silicon Valley start-up (Version Soft Inc.) working on the Apple IIGs and early version of the Macintosh, Dominique joined Electronic Arts in 1988. At EA, Dominique worked on productivity tools (Studio 8/Studio 32) before focusing on the EA game development tools. He worked on debuggers for a number of game platforms then went on to direct game development.

Dominique joined the Maxis studio in 2000 where he managed The Sims: Online development. Dominique became CTO of the Maxis studio until the studio relocated and merged with Redwood Shores.

Dominique served as COO for The Sims studios at EA Redwood City and Salt Lake City and for the SimCity Studio in Emeryville until 2015.

Dominique is currently heading the Central Technology team for EA Mobile.
