William Westwater, Producer with Monolith Productions, Inc., joined the company in July 1999. "He believes great teams make great games, yet even great teams need focus to succeed. He relies on a diverse background to create that framework and focus."

A Princeton graduate with a MA in English from UCDavis, William matches his writing skills with six years experience in the game industry, primarily spent at Activision Studios. Starting in QA with Mech Warrior 2, William moved on to Associate Producer and later to Creative Executive before finally settling into the role of Game Designer. Besides consulting on Dark Reign, Battlezone and Zork: Grand Inquisitor, William designed two games for Activision including Civilization: Call to Power, the #1 selling PC game for April 1999. He also designed and produced Aliens vs. Predator 2.
