Chris Jones

Biography edit · view history

Chris Jones developed and maintains the Adventure Game Studio (former Adventure Creator) for some years now. It is an adventure creation system. AGS is probably the first program of its kind with the biggest and most active community. Games made with AGS are King's Quest 1 VGA, Pleurghburg: Dark Ages or Die neuen Abenteuer des Zak McKracken.

The funny thing is, that the inventor of an engine, that millions of people use to create games, has only created the five rooms of the demo adventure available in the first releases and gave up developing after that, because "[he] realised that [he] had no skills in the art, sound or story departments".
