Mr Keenan began working at Interplay Productions as a quality assurance tester. Mr. Keenan was the youngest employee at Interplay being 15 years old. While there, he was credited in over 10 games. After earning a degree in Santa Barbara, he began working at inXile entertainment, where he joined the company as a scripter on The Bards Tale.
