Jens Hauch started in the games industry an environment artist at Cavedog Entertainment (1997 - 2001). He then worked on environment art and technical art at Beep Industries (2001 - 2003) and THQ (2003 - 2005). He then moved on to ArenaNet for a long stint between 2005 and 2019 as Senior Environment Artist, Lead Technical Artist & FX Manager, Lead Technical Artist and Principal Technical Artist. His last position was at 343 Industries where he was the Campaign World Technical Art Lead. He passed away on 29th March 2020. The game Halo: Infinite (2021) is dedicated to his memory.
