Ryan Roque

After receiving a Bachelors degree in Art Studio from UC Davis in 2001, Ryan continued his education by finishing a second Bachelors degree in Design and Visualization (i.e., Graphic Design) from Silicon Valley College (SVC) in 2005.

In July 2005, he began working for Electronic Arts (EA) at their headquarters in Redwood City, CA as a temporary Game Tester specializing in PC Software under the Quality Assurance (QA) Compliance team.

Officially joining EA as permanent employee in March 2007, Ryan has assumed the role of ESRB Submissions Specialist in the North America Submissions team under the EA Certification department of the Central Development Services (CDS) division, as part of the new company reorganizing.

He manages all correspondence and software submissions regarding disclosure of pertinent content related issues, such as Violence and Sexuality, between the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) and EA, to ensure honesty and ethical game design.

His role was designed to aid in the ESRB's mission to provide concise and impartial information about the content in computer and video games so consumers, especially parents, can make an informed purchase decision, and to prevent "Hot Coffee" scandals.
