Started work at 2K Australia / Irrational Games Canberra in 2007 as a junior programmer, working on the BioShock franchise (1 through to Infinite) and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. In 2013 once Infinite shipped, left to join Overbyte a smaller developer, working on optimisation and ports of games, releasing Vessel on PS3 at the end of 2013.

Once that was completed he joined Uppercut Games as a senior programmer, developing and shipping Submerged (PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS), Danger Dodges (iOS/Android), City of Brass (PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch) and Submerged Hidden Depths (Stadia, PC, Xbox One / Xbox Series X / PS4 / PS5).

After this point Ben was promoted to Lead Programmer as the company grew to a programming team of 10, working on Unreal Engine 5 titles.
