Biography edit · view history

Adam Saltsman is the co-founder of Semi Secret Software, a small independent game developer in Austin, Texas. In August 2008 he released his first independently-funded commercial game with the studio: wurdle, for Apple's iPhone. His indie flash game Gravity Hook received a quarter of a million page views in September without portals or marketing, and was reviewed on Bytejacker, JayIsGames, TIGSource, and the Indie Games Blog. His previous indie outing, Owl Country, was covered by Gamasutra and has been downloaded over 50,000 times. His biggest success so far is the daring escape game Canabalt, released at the end of August 2009.

Saltsman is also responsible for the popular flixel library, a free collection of Actionscript 3 files (as an object-oriented framework) that helps organize, automate, and optimize Flash games.
