Azurelore Korrigan

Azurelore Korrigan is a writer and designer based in New York. As a game writer, Korrigan is known for a granular analysis of games as a means of of human communication. Beyond her role as designer, Korrigan has contributed to games in a variety of genres as writer, artist, animator, composer, sound engineer, among other responsibilities.
In 2010 Korrigan began to research and archive user-derived games built on Recreational Software Designs' 1991 DOS-based Game-Maker development platform, and founded the Game-Maker Archive wiki project to preserve this cul-de-sac of gaming history.
Outside of games, Korrigan has written and edited for comics, television, and other media, and released a small amount of recorded music.
