Dale Disharoon started as a Kindergarten teacher in California. He began writing educational games for the Atari 800 in 1982. The games were published by Spinnaker Software. With the help of a small staff, he expanded to write some of the earliest games for the Commodore 64 and Amiga. His games were also translated to the PC and Apple II.
