18-year industry veteran and currently Head of Studio for Sony Online Entertainment Seattle working on the highly anticipated "The Agency" for PC and PS3. Archer previously worked at Activision where he produced and developed such hit titles as the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Spider-Man for the Nintendo 64 system, multi-million-unit selling hit games, True Crime: Streets of LA, Spider-Man the Movie 2, X-Men Legends, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Spider-Man 3. Prior to his move to SOE Chris created original concepts and designs for several games including Spider-Man, The new True Crime: Reboot and a Super Secret New IP.
Prior to joining the Activision team, Archer served as a Producer at Realtime Associates, where he produced Gex 2: Enter the Gecko for the N64, as well as designing several original concepts for Nintendo of America.
At Playmates Interactive Entertainment, he contributed his talents to the critically acclaimed Powerslave and Alien Earth. Previous to PIE, Archer served as a producer at Virgin Interactive Entertainment working on several hit titles including The Daedalus Encounter, Creature Shock, The 11th Hour, and Tritryst.
Chris has designed and/or produced over 40 games, garnering numerous awards, millions of units sold well over 1 billion in revenue generated.
