Bill Gross co-founded Knowledge Adventure with his brother Larry Gross and Rick Gibson. He remained actively involved in the company until Knowledge Adventure was sold in 1996.

Bill founded Idealab in March 1996 and serves as the company's Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.

He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
