Carl Wade, originally from Huddersfield, North England, started working in the industry in 1988 at Imagitec Design. He was a self-taught programmer that spent much of his career at Acclaim (from 1992 to 2004). He has been credited with more than a dozen titles with notable games such as Turok, South Park and Aero the Acrobat.

Carl passed away December the 5th in 2011.
