Michael Amerson has been involved with 3D art since 1998 and has been enjoying drawing since early childhood. Michael also has had a passion for video games since his youth so it’s natural that he chooses a career involved in the game industry doing art- the two hobbies he loves the most. Being a self taught 3D artist as well as furthering his knowledge by attending classes at local college for 3D art and animation.

He worked for both an architectural firm and a digital media company as a 3D artist/animator before getting his break into the games industry in 2001, when he went to work for Westwood Studios in Las Vegas. In 2002 Westwood studios' parent company (Electronic Arts) had consolidated the studio and just a small percent of the employees were offered to relocate and work California at one of the other EA locations. Michael was one of those who continued to work for EA Redwood Shores, which is the headquarters of Electronic Arts. About a year later he moved back to Las Vegas to be with his family and Petroglyph snatched him up shortly thereafter.

Mike continued to work for Petroglyph through 2007, then moved to Texas to work for Certain Affinity, where he helped finish up with Call of Duty- World at War. After the launch of the title he moved back to Las Vegas and continued to work for Petroglyph as a Lead artist on End of Nations, and then Mytheon.

In 2010 Mike went to work for the Startup Instant Action, headed by former EA VP Louis Castle, as a senior artist, and then moved into the position of lead artist. The game he was working on was "Instant Jam" a free to play musical themed facebook game, heavily inspired by Guitar hero. Unfortunately the studio closed down as the game was in beta and it was never released to the public.

In late 2010, Mike went full indie developer, and went on to produce My Virtual Girlfriend, then the follow up male version- My Virtual Boyfriend. In 2012, Mike was also lead artist on Super Pretzel Factory as well as Candy Maker, and worked on Fair food Maker as well- for Sunstorm Interactive. In 2013, Mike (worked with his WET Productions business partner - William, and created - Dark Breakers, for IOS and Android. A free to play, online strategy game. In 2014, Mike continued to deliver updates for Dark Breakers and created a new dating simulation game- based on Model/actress Chantel Jeffries called "I love Chantel Jeffries" available for iphone and android.
