Justin Muir

Justin Muir started in the industry as an artist at the Australian studio Beam Software (owned by Infogrames) where he worked between 1992 and 1994. From 1995 to 2000 he was the art director at Torus Games and between 2000 and 2004 at Transmission Games, both Australian studios. In October 2004 he became the director of animation at Midway. When the company went out of business he became the art manager at Day:1:Studios in April 2009. He left the games industry after 19 years and currently leads the animation division of Northwestern University’s research visualization group, NUviz, as a senior animation specialist.
