Hot Tank Blasting action and intense Multi-Player Combat make this one action title that keeps drawing you back in.

The Good
The Multiplayer is what makes this game great in my eyes, whether it's online, over a LAN, or through modem, blowing away the competition is so much fun. With a ton of different maps featuring unique locations and powerups, the frenetic action will keep you and your friends at each others throats. I loved the large amount of weapons and all the different ways you could transform your tank based on the terrain you happen to come across. Well dasigned maps that offer a ton of secrets and places to ambush the enemy. The solo missions are also well thought out, intriguing and fun but are shorter than I would like them to be, if the missions weren't so short or there were more of them than I would rate SoloPlay a bit higher. The graphics are great and the game runs just fine on a P-166 with a decent 3D card. Try this game online at Westwoods own gaming portal, Westwood Online, you'll be glad you did.

The Bad
Solo play is where the game faulters, it only features 6 missions. Though the six are broken up into smaller chunks with different objectives, the game is still over in about 5-6 hours of play the first time through, after you learn the maps any self respecting gamer will be able to rip through it in under 2 hours. The missions are well designed though, really utilizing your Tanks ultra cool Morphing abilities. Stick with multiplayer...

The Bottom Line
Drive a tank around huge battlefields and destroy the Evil MegaCorp! Play with your friends online or against the computer through Six missions of furious fun. Great graphics and an easy interface that anyone can use.
