Mortal Kombat Gold
Description official description
The first and only Mortal Kombat title to make onto the Dreamcast console, Mortal Kombat Gold offered players a carbon-copy of the arcade edition of Mortal Kombat 4, along with additional features and characters never before included in the arcade game.
Using the exact same engine found in Mortal Kombat 4, the game performs flawlessly on the Dreamcast platform, while also running at a higher resolution than its arcade counterpart.

Trivia
Releases
Mortal Kombat Gold was released twice. Four games released by Midway back when they first started making Dreamcast games had several errors, which were fixed in subsequent pressings. The cover of a fixed version says "Hot! New!", the disc is slightly different, and the UPC may also be different.
The other games that were released as Hot! New! versions were Hydro Thunder, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, and NFL Blitz 2000.
Characters
Originally, an exclusive new character called Belokk was slated for Mortal Kombat Gold, but he was cut from the final release of the game. Belokk was created by Eurocom and, according to Ed Boon, was removed from the game due to the developers not having enough time to finish him. Nevertheless, Eurocom accidentally sent information about the game with the character in it to Game Informer. As a result, six screenshots of him were revealed to the public in a preview.
