BiographyDoug Dyer has been in the video game industry for over twenty years, starting his career as a Product Planner at Microsoft. While there, he had his hand is developing and launching the Age of Empires franchise, as well as products Gex, Arcade, Return of Arcade, and products from the console developer SingleTrac Entertainment.

From Microsoft, Dyer moved to GT Interactive (which later became Infogrammes and later, Atari) where he was executive producer over Frontline Games. He worked on and had a hand in the development of products such as Abe's Oddysey, Unreal Tournament, Duke Nukem, and both Driver and Driver 2 as well as many other products across multiple platforms.

Mr. Dyer later moved into the mobile industry, starting THQ Wireless, where he built a global publishing business by launching mobile games based on licenses such as Major League Baseball, WWE Wrestling, Hello Kitty, Sponge Bob, and the Simpsons. As General Manager, Dyer was responsible for hiring the people who eventually ran offices in over 20 countries around the world. In 2003, Dyer moved to Warner Bros and became VP of Wireless for Warner Bros. where he oversaw the building of a global publishing and mobile marketing organization that eventually spanned over 50 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

In 2006, Dyer became CEO of Oasys Mobile, a publicly-traded mobile game publisher until he left in 2012 to become an independent gaming consultant, most recently working in the social casino and real-money gaming markets, helping companies build out their online and mobile businesses as well as expand into new markets and territories.
