Company Overview | Zono was an independent game development studio established in 1991. The studio was named after its two founders, Ed Zobrist (Zo) and William Novak (No). A third partner was called Jeff Fort. The early years of the company focused on console game design, and in 1995 Zono grew into a full development shop for console and PC games. The company's client list included publishers such as Electronic Arts, SEGA and Psygnosis. The studio was closed circa 2005 and the assets were sold off wholesale to MumboJumbo, who used it to establish its MumboJumbo LA, but with no people of Zono involved. |
