Added description to Yoshi Touch & Go · April 10th, 2005

Yoshi Touch & Go is based on a tech demo that Nintendo showed at trade shows to demonstrate the technical abilities of the DS. Like in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi is carrying Baby Mario on his back and is walking through the countryside. There are enemies, pits in the ground, and other obstacles you must circumnavigate. You do not control Yoshi; you must use the stylus to draw alternate paths (made of small clouds), kill enemies, and throw eggs for him. There is only one level, but it can be played as a Marathon game, Time Attack, Score Attack, and a couple other modes. You can also play against a friend in Versus mode.

Added description to Super Monkey Ball Deluxe · March 21st, 2005

This game is basically a fusion of Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2 for the PS2 and XBox. All of the levels from those two games are available in this collection, and all of the minigames are already unlocked and included. Formerly only available to GameCube players, the Super Monkey Ball series has made it to the PS2 and Xbox after a wait of almost 3 and a half years.

The game itself plays very much like the old arcade game Marble Madness. You control a monkey in a ball, and you have to navigate it through many perilous labyrinths to the finish. In the previous two games you had limited lives/tries, but here you have infinite lives, which makes it all the easier.

Added description to Rags to Riches: The Financial Market Simulation · October 30th, 2004

You play a young college graduate who has been given a large sum of money by your parents to set up a company. You start in a crummy office on the Lower East Side of town, and as you dabble more in the stock market and make more money, you can take a trip to the mall and buy things from a porcelain dalmatian to a new office. You have to be careful, though- one wrong move with your money, and you end up penniless on the street.
