About Me:

My fascination with computer games started in when I was six years old, in 1986 playing a friends Atari 2600. However as much and I asked and complained my parents wouldn't buy me one. Another friend of mine got a NES in a year or two later and again I was amazed.

Anyhow, despite all this prodding I was doing, my parents ended up buying me a Amstrad PC1512 in 1989. This was a basic Intel 8086 based PC with 2 x 5.25" FDDs and CGA graphics (well it could do Amstrad 8/16 colour also, but it was never really supported). This came with MS-DOS 3, Dos Plus and GEM Desktop. The later two are now quite rare to find.

Anyway I ended up saving my pocket money for quite some time and getting Sega Master System in 1990 and here the games began proper. The rest is history! :)

Today I have a pretty good collection of current and retro gaming consoles.
