NBA Street Vol. 2 (PlayStation 2)

I only have one word for this game....P-H-A-T, PHAT!

The Good
The commentary is nothing short of brillaint and there is practically no repitition. Be A Legend Mode is OK but it needs a little work. Also, no goaltending, out of bounds or fouls makes the game WIDE open. It is so competitive to win the game and get the most trick points.

The Bad
The only thing I didn't like was the blisters on my hand after playing it for so long.

The Bottom Line
As a must buy for any NBA or street ball fan or sports fan in general.

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GameCube)

The same as the Dreamcast version.

The Good
There was not alot of improvements from the Dreamcast version. The only new things were letting your Chao fight it out and hooking it up to your Game Boy Advance.

The Bad
I really don't have an opinion about it since there were no real changes.

The Bottom Line
It would just be better to buy the Dreamcast version, it would be cheaper too.

Pokémon Stadium (Nintendo 64)

A refreshing addition to the N64 world.

The Good
The fact that you didn't stop after just the first difficulty, you have a round 2, but if you have a gameshark for both Game Boy Color and N64, you should have no problem.

The Bad
The fact that I had to buy the 2nd one to put the new 100 pokemon (152-251) in the game.

The Bottom Line
This isa challenge for the serious Pokrmon gamer or if your just in it for the mini-games.

Spider-Man (PlayStation 2)

Doesn't matter which system you put it on, it is grat in every way.

The Good
The web slinging is so realistic, it's like controlling the real Spider-Man and the side storyline with Shocker helps you improve your Spidey skills for the Green Goblin. Also, the different combinations of attacks are sweet!

The Bad
The only thing that didn't follow the storyline was that Spidey had to refill his web, unlike the real movie where he didn't have to reload.

The Bottom Line
If you enjoyed the movie or the comic book series, you should give this game a try.

Grand Theft Auto III (PlayStation 2)

Endless possibilities await with this game.

The Good
Endless violence and gore await with this game. The gang violence is awesome in this game along with the original features like stealing cars and weapons. Shootomg innocent bystanders is an added bonus.

The Bad
Only being outdone by Vice City is the diwn side.

The Bottom Line
Anyone except for little children and adults would love this game so buy it unless you have a weak stomach.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (GameCube)

Best THPS yet!

The Good
The graphics were crisp and clear made a great from the start. The different selection of music and the sound was on target. But, probably the best thing is the ability to grind cars!

The Bad
The only thing I could find wrong is the challenges were too hard.

The Bottom Line
Tony Hawk is the man and so are his games so get out there and buy it.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (GameCube)

A great rebound from their last screw up.

The Good
The weapns were a nice touch to the game and new characters spiced up the game a little more. I can honestly say that the fatalities have gotten better every year.

The Bad
I didn't like that you couldn't wall damage like in the old MK games. And the old sweep and punch action is worthless which was my best chance of winning.

The Bottom Line
Gothic people and people who like gore and violence will jump for joy with this game.

Metroid Prime (GameCube)

Best Gamecube game ever!

The Good
Everything! The graphics are outstanding like any Metroid game. The detail in the surroundings were out of the charts and switching from an energy cannon to a freeze beam was an extra bonus. Additionally, the enemies looked super cool! The controls were very easy to handle and the story unraveled very well with no flaws. The game lives to its name, PRIME!

The Bad
Nothing.

The Bottom Line
Buy the game now and be hooked for life.

Pac-Man World 2 (PlayStation 2)

The Pac is back!

The Good
Controlling Pac wasn't as big a problem as I thought. Plus, the graphics weren't too shabby either. A decent gameplay for any old school video gamer.

The Bad
The sound could some when compared to other games and Pac-Man himself could use a makeover himself.

The Bottom Line
This video game is for all generations, young or old, even my mom liked it. So, if she liked it, then buy it.

ATV Offroad Fury (PlayStation 2)

Gameplay is great, A.I. could be better.

The Good
With the diffrerent views and angles puts you right in the action. The detail in the landscape is great, the best in a long time. The best thing is that the men look like men and the women look like women.

The Bad
The A.I. really isn't that great, but what can you except from a quote "racing game"? I also you could do more tricks in the game as well.

The Bottom Line
The gamplay and graphics are great, but the A.I. is bad, a decent buy for anyone.

Max Payne (PlayStation 2)

A very big disappointment.

The Good
Sound were awesome with the gun shooting and explosions throughout the game. Also, the ability to pick your wasted victim's ammo is sweet to.

The Bad
Where do I begin? First, the voices are really blurred so you can never hear what the person is saying and when you can there is like only 5-6 different voices which is pretty lame. Plus, the background graphics are really shoty and just plain suck. Finally, the load times are horrible compared to the PC version.

The Bottom Line
Please, if you want this game, go buy either the Windows or Xbox version. If you don't have either, PS2 is only hope, and my friend you will be disappointed.

Pokémon Ruby Version (Game Boy Advance)

Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku (Game Boy Advance)

It could be better......

The Good
That it was the first DBZ game released in the US. The gameplay was really good and it followed the storyline to the exact point. Also the ability to use different attacks instead of just Ki Blasts.

The Bad
That the story didn't go past the Frieza Saga because it would have been a lot more interesting. I was also disappointed that you didn't get to fight with anyone else other than Goku.

The Bottom Line
A game you would if your an RPG, fighting, or just a DBZ fan.

MLB SlugFest 20-03 (PlayStation 2)

This game stinks!

The Good
The only thing I like about this game was that you got to hit the opposing team's players.

The Bad
The controlling stunk because I couldn't control where I was throwing the pitch and was clueless of when to hit and throwing to 1st base was nearly impossible! I was losing to the TB Devil Rays 10-1 for crying out loud!

The Bottom Line
Nobody buy this game unless you are a retart!

Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube)

A great follow up to Mario 64.

The Good
The thing that standed out the most were the graphics and the wide variety of colors. The graphics were very detailed (especially the water in the harbor level). The colors were eye-popping and a upgrade from Mario 64.

The Bad
The 2 things I didn't like were the music and the voice text. The music was corny and boring like in the other Mario games. Plus, the music overshadowed the voices in the game. Peach's voice was scrambled and the Toads just made funny noises.

The Bottom Line
You feel like you got your money's worth with this game. If you like Mario games or games with a mixture of humor and seriousness, you should buy this game.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan (Xbox)

NHL 2K3 (Xbox)

The best Xbox hockey game so far.

The Good
The real to life sounds of players crashing the boards, the pucks and sticks smacking each other, it's a beautiful from an Xbox game. And the game has a minor league system which I haven't seen yet. Plus, the capability of playing it online is extra sweet.

The Bad
The things I found wrong were once again the crowd because nobody can get it right, you just can't copy and paste people in the arena, that makes it just not believable and the anouncers are just plain annoying and I usually turn them off and create my own commentating.

The Bottom Line
The Xbox didn't disappoint and I say this to everyone: BUY IT NOW!

Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller (Xbox)

A new, but very old game.

The Good
They brought back the first two levels from the old Crazy Taxi games, (S.F. and N.Y.). Four new drivers were a welcomed change and the Crazy X mode is totally tricked out! And that's if you don't feel like playing the main game.

The Bad
They kept most of the old music, which really sucks because I only like 1 song total out of all of them. Plus, there is no secret characters or levels to unlock and no real storyline to the game except for getting the customer from point A to point B which is getting really old.

The Bottom Line
A total waste of money! Only buy if you loved the first tow installments of Crazy Taxi or if your going to be a cab driver when you grow up.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (PlayStation 2)

Nothing out does LOTR

The Good
The best thing about this game is that they switch from the video game to actual scenes from The Fellowship of The Ring and The Two Towers. The vast territory and continent you have to travel is immense. But, the best thing about the game is the variety of weapons/upgrades you have to choose from.

The Bad
I didn't like the lack of characters you could select from, it makes the game more predictible. Plus, I know the movies are super long, but does the game have to be that way to? I am a SERIOUS gamer and I don't like a extremely long game.

The Bottom Line
All LOTR fans will buy this game, or if just into movie tie-in games buy this too.
