I am a native german Narrator and Speaker. I worked more then 20 ys on Air for Radio Stations, and more then 7 ys on-Air for TV Stations. Since the mid-80` I started the voice-over business, with Radio and TV Adds, Documentarys etc . In the 2000 ys I started to take over the role of XARDAS at all the GOTHIC Games. There are a lot of Games, where you will hear my voice now.. I guess a few hundreds. Some with a bigger Part, some with a few Sentences only. To be true.. I never asked in the Studios, for the name of the Game, that I just did ! And if I did.. I forgot it , when back home. The reason might be : ( Oh wonder..) I never play games on my PC ! I just don´t know how to do that.. jumping, pushing or whatever ! And while working on a PC the whole day anyway.. I do not like to play any Games in the hours, after work. In these hours I prefer a glass of a good Red Wine, and a fine Dinner ! ;-) But what I really like is, to give a Voice to all those Characters, and make them come alive. Nice or nasty.. whatever it takes ! Thats why I also take over some Roles a year, on a Theater Stage. And yes, I can say what not so many people can : I really love my Job, and can´t wait for the next ! For me it´s not enough, when the Studio Boss is happy with my work! When I THINK it´s good, then I am happy. I once was in a studio for a TV Spot, and left after it was done. On the parking-Lot I thought : It might go better.. and went back in the Studio ! Asking.."sorry but.. can we do another Version..please ?" The folks in the Studio : "ahm..OK!" After that , everybody was really happy with that new, and better Version. Me too !! Instead of ONE TV Spot, I became the voice of ALL KIA MOTORS Spots for the next 3 years, on Radio and TV ... and made a Hell Lot of money ! Because, I was happy with MY IDEA of a good Version. Know now, what I mean ? I don´t need to play that Game.. I have to give them the right VOICE! That´s my Job !
