Established in Dec. 1993, Enteractive, Inc. designed, developed, published and marketed interactive multimedia titles on CD-Rom for the home and school markets. The company headquarters were located in New York City, New York, with development and operations locations in Washington, D.C. and Cheshire, Connecticut.

Prior to 1995, Enteractive Inc.'s focus was on the development of titles on a work-for-hire basis. Toward the end of 1994, the company shifted to being a developer and publisher of titles in which they maintained significant ownership interests and distribution rights.

Several acquisitions and mergers are on record for Enteractive, Inc. On April 11, 1994 Sonic Images Productions, Inc. merged into the company, and on February 29, 1996, they acquired Lyriq International Corporation, a developer and publisher of interactive multimedia products for the education, games and recreation markets.

On July 15, 1996 the company announced a restructuring comprised of a 45% reduction of its Washington DC based development staff and changes in senior management. After the downsizing, Enteractive Inc. employed 31 full-time and part-time persons dedicated to product development, testing and technical support activities. During that year, the Company acquired exclusive worldwide distribution rights to The Sacred Mirror of Kofun.

On August 15, 1997, the company sold all of their domestic distribution rights, inventory and certain accounts receivable from its interactive multimedia publishing business to Enteractive Distribution Company LLC, an unrelated company with headquarters in West Hartford, Connecticut. With this sale, Enteractive Inc. left the video gaming industry, formed a new subsidiary (Enteractive Network Solutions Inc., d.b.a. USWeb Cornerstone), and changed focus to providing internet-based business solutions, website hosting and e-commerce solutions. Former Lyriq International President/Co-founder Randal J. Hujar headed up the new subsidiary located in West Stamford, Connecticut.
