About Webfoot

Webfoot develops games and state-of-the art engines that have been published for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, PalmOS and PocketPC platforms. These incredible products are available through both retail and online channels. In addition, the Webfoot team has created a suite of tools for quickly creating breath-taking software at an unprecidented pace. These tools also allow for portability to a variety of platforms, including Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and JAVA based systems.

The Webfoot team also has experience creating games on other platforms, including the 3DO, Sega Genesis, CPC, Amiga, and Sony Playstation.

History of Webfoot

Founded in 1994, Webfoot is now celebrating it's 5 year anniversary! Webfoot's first game, TwinBlok, was a DOS based 'brick out' style game released commercially by Magicom Multimedia. Other DOS-based games such as H2O, Tronic, and Hopy-One soon followed. Webfoot's classic web page (pictured on the left) became a popular gaming site on the internet in the years that followed.

In 1997, Webfoot refocused it's efforts on new 3D games for Windows 9x. This new line of products was created specifically to utilize the Windows 95/98 operating systems so that Webfoot's games would be available to a much wider audience. With the re-birth of the Macintosh market (thanks to the iMac), and the emergence of a popular Unix system named Linux, Webfoot also decided to focus on portability and make our 3D programs available on other systems. By pulling all development efforts in-house, we were able to concentrate our efforts on the best software for the most popular systems.

With the birth of our new 3D products and our re-focus on the most popular operating systems, Webfoot's software soon became available in retail outlets world-wide. Thanks to the enthusiasm of our customers, the new 3D product line is a great success and we would like to thank everyone for their support.
