Overview edit · view history

Wings Simulations GmbH was founded in 1996 by two industry veterans: Heiko Schröder and Teut Weidemann. Both were active in various parts of the industry since 1987 and decided to develop games for international publishers.

The company was bought out by JoWooD Productions group in May 2000. After the disappointing sales of Söldner: Secret Wars, JoWood announced to close down the development division on 26 January 2005. A few members were kept aboard to provide support for Söldner and to finish the expansion pack Söldner: Marine Corps.
