Biography edit · view history

Bruce Campbell Shelley started by developing board games for Avalon Hill and joined MicroProse in 1988 to work with Sid Meier on projects like F-19 Stealth Fighter, Railroad Tycoon, Covert Action, and Civilization. He started working on F-19 the first year, and ported existing games to other platforms the next year. He was then asked by Meier to become his assistant designer and the two became a solid duo working together on games. They left their most important mark in the video games history with the release of Civilization in 1991.

When MicroProse got into trouble, Shelley eventually left the company to found Ensemble Studios.
