Biography edit · view history
Ryuta Kawashima is a neuroscientist who has become known for his research indicating that more of the brain is used doing simple tasks at a fast pace than working on more difficult problems, and is thus a good method for exercising one's mind and keeping it from degrading. He used this research to develop the book Train Your Brain: 60 Days to a Better Brain full of such activities, which was a great success and inspired Nintendo to license his work to create the Brain Age series.
In January 2008 it was reported he refused to take part in the royalties of the game, which would have easily exceeded 20 million dollar.
