Marcio Baraldi is a Brazilian professional cartoonist since 1983, when he started his career at the ABC's Chemists Syndicate, for which he still draws today.* Aside the ABC Chemists' Syndicate, he's been a cartoonist at São Paulo's Bank Clerk Syndicate for 15 years. * He also draws for other syndicates as the Subway workers, Phisicians, Psychologists, ABC's Bank Clerks, Sindsaúde, APCEF, APEOESP, SEEL-SP, etc. * Draws the characters "Roko-Loko" and "Adrina-Lina" for the Rock Brigade Magazine for 10 uninterrupted years. * Draws the character "Tattoo Zinho", the first tattoo artist cartoon character for the "Metalhead Tattoo" magazine for 10 uninterrupted years. * Draws the character "Érica, a esotérica" for the "Esotérica" magazine (Onde publishing company) for 3 uninterrupted years. * Draws the "Vapt e Vupt" characters for the "Espiritismo e Ciência" magazine (Mythos publishing company) for one uninterrupted year. * Draws monthly for the rock/teen magazines "Roadie Crew", "Dynamite", "Valhalla", "Comando Rock", "Metalhead" and "Rock Underground". * Draws weekly cartoons for the "Brasil de Fato" newspaper and diary cartoons for the "Repórter Diário" newspaper, from São Paulos's ABC. * Won six "Ângelo Agostini" awards, the oldest and most traditional award given to Brazilian cartoonist. * Won two "Vladimir Herzog" awards, for Human Rights. * Has five published cartoon books, one of them with prefaces by Ziraldo (a well known Brazilian cartoonist) and by the Brazilian President, Luis Inácio Lula da Silva. * Has two "Roko-Loko e Adrina-Lina" books and one "Tattoo Zinho" book, awarded the best 2003, 2004 and 2005 releases respectively. * Released the "Roko-Loko no Castelo do Ratozinger PC game, the first non-infantile character game produced in Brazil. * Has participated in several Brazilian TV shows, like "Musikaos", "Swing com Syang", "Superpop", Ione Borges, among others. * Contributes with his cartoons weekly to ALL-TV's "Domingo Show". * Has created "Rap-Dez", the first rapper cartoon character.
