Paul Arnold was born in Great Wyrley, Nr Walsall in the Midlands, on June 1972. His education includes:
  • University of York (Goodricke College) M.Sc music Technology
  • University of Leicester (Nene College) B.A. (Hons) Combined Studies (Major: music, Minor: Computing)
  • Great Wyrley High School, Nr Walsall – 3 ‘A’ Levels, music, Sociology and Economics and 13 GCSEs including Maths, English and music
The instruments he plays are Trumpet (Grade 8), Piano (Grade 6), Trombone, Guitar and Drums.

He met Andrew Barnabas when they both came to work for Millennium Interactive in Cambridge (it later became SCE Studio Cambridge). They left the company in 2001 to form Bob & Barn Ltd..

In November 2006, the duo joined Side UK Ltd. as in-house music and sound design supervisors.
