Biography edit · view history
Sam Raski is a Flash games developer and the founder of Overworld Labs. At the present time, he is the sole designer, programmer and graphics artist for his games, stating that, while he does not necessarily plan to always act as an one-man team, he has so far achieved more by working alone than in teams.
Despite the fact that, due to its ease of use and unparalleled distribution model, it has now become his medium of choice, he openly states that he never really liked Flash games, seeing them "as nothing but a noisy, unfiltered wasteland of the games industry, a jungle of amateurish distractions built by hobbyists." Therefore, his aim is to create games that are different from what is generally found on Flash portals, in the sense of being more complex and featuring a healthy dose of both "adrenaline-pumping action and cerebral strategizing," plus varied other elements that create depth. However, he also states that he does not plan to spend more than a few months working on any single game.
