As Lead Developer, Wayne Sikes' work for Her Interactive includes developing proprietary data management systems; lossless data compression algorithms; animation data storage and playback systems; the SAMS system for game mood and environmental control; implementation of a complete game flow system for non-linear, conversation-based games; a 3D game engine using Direct3D; and various art and asset tools.

He has extensive experience with Direct X - DirectDraw, Direct3D, and DirectSound - as well as C, C++, Visual C++, Assembly Language, and MS Windows programming.

Prior to his work with Her Interactive, Wayne was an editor for Game Developer Magazine, was a Controls System Engineer for General Motors Corporation, and a System/Intelligence Analyst for the government.

Wayne attended the University of Texas and the University of Arizona Graduate School.
