Steve Ince is a writer and games designer from England. He is known for his work on the Broken Sword series at Revolution software.

Prior to entering the industry Ince studied astronomy and astrophysics at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. After graduating he did several jobs such as creating comic strips for a local newspaper. He was hired by Revolution in 1993, originally as a graphic artist. He moved into production work and writing at the company.

Ince has worked as a freelancer since leaving Revolution in 2004. He has written various blogs and books on writing. He has also worked on various games including The Witcher. He worked with Revolution again when they created versions of some of the Broken Sword series for newer platforms.
