Biography edit · view history

Ted graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in architecture. After graduation, he worked as an architect for L.D. Astorino Architects, designing and creating renderings using Form-Z and AutoCad.

One day while secretly goofing around with 3-D Studio at the office, one of his co-workers saw his computer screen and encouraged him to apply for one of the jobs advertised in NextGen.

Excited by the prospect of creating something that didn’t require the approval of a building inspector, Ted decided to make the switch to game artist. This led to his first experience in the industry at Advanced Productions. Working with Alias, Max, and Lightwave he helped create several games and cinematics, as an art director and artist. He also gained an appreciation for magnetic field interference while setting up an Accesion wireless mocap system. During this time he continued his education in computer and traditional art at the School of Visual Arts and with the Alias training program.

From there he moved on to work with Sony Online Entertainment creating an online gaming project. Using his traditional art skills, Ted created detailed conceptual designs and hi-poly models of many of the game environments.

Ted now joins the Big Huge team where he plans to continue creating exciting game visuals.

When not at his computer, Ted enjoys skiing, drawing, and Godaikins.
