I was going through the New Game Wizard, adding a new game with DOS and Windows versions. On the Release Info step, the note under the DOS release form fields looks normal:

Don't include things like "US" release or "Maxis' release or "PlayStation" release since that information is already recorded elsewhere.

But under the Windows fields, I get this:
