Hi, I just bought a Pokemon Blue off of eBay and I was looking at the picture of the cartridge for it on your site. The one listed on your site has an E for Everyone Rating on the cartridge that looks like the one on the box (an E with dots surrounding it), but the cartridge I got is an E that is a solid color (black) and does not have any dots around it. Is this a fake?

Ehe ESRB changed the logos at some point. You probably just got a later printing. As far as I know, there's no way to counterfeit Game Boy cartridges.

You're wrong there, there's millions of fake GameBoy cartridges around, especially on ebay. There are ways of telling, for instance by looking at the code near the contact strips.

Have a look at this guide and see if it helps. :)

Fake cartridges exist for all Nintendo systems, unfortunately.

True. But some Asians should not forget what they're faking. Kotaku's recent feature.
