Anyone remember the "Sam Coupe"?

Made by Miles Gordon Technology.

It was marketed as the replacement for the Spectrum / Amstrad...

I asked my parents to buy me one, then 3 months later the company goes belly up.

Anyone else got one of these machines? I still have mine.

How much would they be worth nowadays?

I also still have an Acorn Electron with the Plus 1 Expansion Pack

Welcome to MobyGames!

Sam Coupe is one of the missing platforms expected to be added in the future database updates.

In order to help the MobyAdmins deciding upon its tech-specs, I've noted down some info in this google.docs document. We need users with experience with old computers (such as you) to fill-in the blanks (e.g. what were the possible multiplayer options in games?). But even if you don't want to contribute info, you'll find useful links there regarding Sam:

We already list Acorn Electron games in our database, under Electron: http://www.mobygames.com/browse/games/electron/

We'd be glad if you had submitted some titles there!
