Lock'em Up

This is the story of four little strange friends : Square, Circle, Triangle and Cross. Strange friends indeed, as they can’t touch each other, otherwise they explode (but that’s another story).

One day, they decided to visit an haunted castle, but they lost themselves into an underground labyrinth.

Help this creatures to exit together. But be aware : the way to the exit is strewed with dangers and your creatures must not meet each other!

Think Fast, Move Fast!

*** A totally original game * 35 stages, 5 levels of difficulty * No time needed to get used to the gameplay * Can be played anytime, anywhere * Can be launched from a storage card The aim of the game is to help all the creatures to escape from each stage. There are a total of 35 stages divided into 5 difficulty levels. Each of these stages has four exits. Each exit is designed for only one kind of creature. Unfortunately for them, these creatures are not clever enough to go safely straight to an exit. The only thing they can do is to follow the arrows on the ground and turn to their right side when they face a wall. The only way for you to help them is to change the direction of the arrows with your stylus. While guiding your creatures to safety, you will have to avoid traps such as moving walls or death blocks. But the greatest danger comes from the creatures themselves.**

Each one moves at a different speed : Square is the slowest, Cross is a bit faster, Triangle dashes and Circle is the fastest.

Be careful not to let them meet each other or the game will end !

To help you in your task, you can use special items like the arrows on the ground to change the creature’s path, or springboards to make them jump above traps or walls. Yet, your best ally will be your own mind and reflexes to analyze each situation and behave faster than your creatures.

Your performances are saved each time you finish a level so that you can improve your records. There are many puzzle games on Palm devices but Lock’Em Up is the only one which manages to combine strategy and action such closely. The game requires you to think carefully at the beginning of the game to plan your actions. And once you have done your first action, you have to chain as quickly as possible all the others to prevent your creatures to meet each other.

Lock’Em Up is the only Palm game which requires the gamers to be at the same time brisk and quick-witted.

*** A totally original game * 40 levels with an increasing difficulty * Intuitive gameplay * Can be played anytime, anywhere**

The game contains 40 levels with a progressive difficulty. To complete one level, you have to help the creatures to escape from the labyrinth : direct each creature towards its appropriate exit.

The creatures are always on the move, following the arrows and turning to their right when they face a wall. You have to move each creature towards the right exit by changing the direction of the arrows and avoiding traps (they can jump above traps and walls). If they meet each other or go to the wrong exit, you have missed this level and can try again.

Your performances are saved each time you finish a level so that you can improve your records.

Your best ally will be your own mind and reflexes to analyze each situation and behave faster than your creatures.
