On a warm evening in May 1897, Sherlock Holmes, accompanied by Dr. Watson arrives at a party in the fabulous Sherringford Hall. It was rumoured that the host, Sir Melvyn Bomsby, a construction tycoon was to make an announcement of great importance concerning the future of his business.

At 11 PM people began to crowd around the bar in anticipation as Sir Bromsby and his chief associate Hermann Grimble took to the stage. Barely had he begun to welcome his guests when Sir Bromsby fell to the floor, a darkening red stain visible on his tuxedo right above his heart...

STORY

In May 1897 Sherlock Holmes accompanied by Dr. Watson comes to party organized at Sherringford Hall of Sir Melvyn Bromsby, construction tycoon. All guests were invited to welcome his daughter, Lavinia who has just returned to England. In fact Sherlock Holmes was more attracted by famous singer Gallia who was supposed to perform during this reception.

One have heard a rumors that during opening address the host is to pronounce something very important concerning future of his business. 11 P.M. People crowd near bar. Sir Bromsby appears accompanied by his right hand, Hermann Grimble take his place on the stage. He barely started welcoming his guests, suddenly Sir Melvyn Bromsby falls on the floor, red spot is visible on his tuxedo right on his heart… Guest panic, Lavinia Bromsby run towards her dying father…Holmes decides to act quickly, not waiting for the police to come.

Ubisoft's Sherlock Holmes crime-investigation adventure in stores now.

September 28, 2004 - Ubisoft today announced that Secret of the Silver Earring, a crime-solving mystery adventure that puts the player in the tweed hat of none other than Sherlock Holmes, has shipped. The game invites players to explore 40 19th-century London locations as well as far-flung Brazil and India to search for clues and question witnesses to solve the murder of a wealthy tycoon. A promised 30 hours of gameplay means the quest will be far from elementary. Secret of the Silver Earring carries a rating of "T" for Teen and an SRP of $19.99.
