Colin McRae Rally, developed using similar technology to its hit touring car game, is an accurate rallying simulation that recreates all the realism of the sport whilst maintaining frantic gameplay as you try to shave that last thousandth of a second off your nearest rival's time.

Power drive the greatest world rally cars, achieving winning times and drive point-to-point stages across the toughest terrains and tracks around the world. With Individual Stages, 8 International Rallies or the entire Championship, Colin McRae Rally takes handling to the edge.

With precisely modelled cars, and the specs in the physics model taken straight from the manufacturers, you'll need all of co-driver Nicky Grist's instructions and tuition from the master himself in the rally school if your going to make it to the stage finish without a prang.

As your driving ability improves, and the car is set up for optimal performance depending on the conditions and nature of the stage, power-sliding and handbrake turns become second nature. The handling and crashes are impressive (especially with Dual Shock compatibility). And with damage battering the car body and affecting handling (not to mention making the car dirty), it's best to keep on the track as much as possible. Don't worry too much though, there is a repair option in the car setup.
